FULL TIME – PSG win 5-0
PSG win 5-0 on the night and fully deserve to win on over the two legs. But PSG possibly are the favourites to win the overall competition, and Glasgow City have done brilliantly to reach this stage of the competition.
PSG have a free-kick 25 yards in the left channel, but Dali’s effort goes well over.
89 mins – OFFSIDE
Hamraoui launches a ball over the Glasgow defence, and Asllani runs towards the goal. Her equisite lob from the edge of the box seems to have made it six, but the assistant had raised the flag. Replays showed this was the wrong decision. Asllani is booked either for scoring or arguing about the decision.
87 mins – GOAL PSG 5-0 Glasgow City (Dali pen) (8-0 agg)
Kenza Dali takes this penalty, and she places it in the bottom right corner, again Lee Alexander dives the wrong way. Both PSG penalties have been excellent and unsavable.
86 mins – PENALTY
Mix up between McCulloch and Alexander. Asllani chases down a ball, with McCulloch trying to shepherd the ball to the keeper. Asllani steals the ball before McCulloch trips the PSG striker. In winning the ball, Asllani makes accidental contact with the keeper, meaning Alexander will have a shiner.
83 mins – Glasgow City Sub
Leanne Ross replaces Suzanne Lappin.
Chance for Glasgow City. Fiona Brown cuts from the wing, then turns her defender and mishits her shot allowing an easy clearance for Georges
78 mins PSG Sub
Anissa Lahmari replaces the impressive Shirley Cruz Traña.
Alushi breaks down the right and into the box, Hamrouri is tackled but the ball falls to Asllani whose shot is saved by Alexander’s chest. O’Sullivan clears.
Dali has a shot from 20 yards, Alexander parries the ball down to take the pace from it, before claiming it on the line
Fatmire Alushi cuts of the right wing and breaks into the box unchallenged, but her cross is cleared by Jones. City have tired.
Kosovare Asllani nearly makes an immediate impact as Delannoy’s cross finds her, but her shot is saved from extremely brave keeping from Alexander.
69 Mins – PSG Sub
Kosovare Asllani replaces Marie-Laure Delie who has scored two goals tonight. Kenza Dali replaces Aurélie Kaci.
68 Mins – GOAL PSG 4-0 Glasgow City (Delie)
Cruz Traña plays Delannoy down the right and on the by-line she pulls the ball back across the six-yard box to Delie who beats Alexander with a nice finish.
67 Mins – Glasgow City Subs
Susan Fairlie replaces Abbi Grant, whilst Denise O’Sullivan replaces Kerry Montgomery.
64 mins – GOAL PSG 3-0 Glasgow City (Delannoy Pen) (5-0 agg)
Sabrina Delannoy places the ball on the spot and calmly slots it in the bottom left corner. Lee Alexander dived the wrong way.
64 mins – PENALTY to PSG
Shirley Cruz Traña turns Emma Black who leaves her foot dangling bringing the PSG player down, an obvious penalty.
Hamraouri’s free-kick is cleared to Seger whose cross picks out Delie, her header is saved by Alexander. Then from the corner, Seger’s shot is going into the top corner but is saved by Alexander.
Another PSG challenge. Boulleau crosses across the six yard box finding Caroline Seger at the near post, but her shot is superbly saved by Lee Alexander.
Better from City. Fiona Brown runs at the PSG defence, and eventually gets into the box but ends up tackled by Henning.
Laure Boulleau’s cross picks out Hamraoui, but her shot hits a hand, luckily for City, the hand of Delie.
Ouch. Kheira Hamraorui shoots from 25 yards, but her powerful effort hits Cheryl McCulloch who takes one for the team. The ball falls for Kaci, but she shoots over.
53 mins – GOAL PSG 2-0 Glasgow City
Tie over. Beautiful play, Cruz Traña finds Kaci who passes to Delie at the near post who flicks her shot past the despairing hand of Alexander. That is a wonderful goal.
Good play down the right wing sees Fiona Brown win a foul of Boulleau. Hayley Lauder takes the free-kick and her delivery finds Suzanne Lappin at the far post, but she heads wide. The delivery was probably over hit.
PSG go close. Kaci’s clever skills allow her to pick out Alushi with a cross. Her header is blocked by Montgomery, and Alushi reacts quickly, but her shot is saved well low down by Alexander. There are some arguments between the players over Cruz’s attempt to win the ball from Alexander, and Cruz and Jones are booked.
HALF-TIME: PSG 1-0 Glasgow City (3-0 agg)
Alushi’s right-wing cross nearly becomes more dangerous than it was when McCulloch misses her clearance, but her defensive partner Jones is there to stop any danger.
Patient build up again from PSG, and again good Glasgow defending. Nice interchange between Delie and Kaci on the edge of the box ends with Kaci having a shot blocked by Jones.
PSG win a free-kick in the right channel, 25 yards from goal. Hamraoui plays it to the unmarked Delannoy down the right, but Abbi Grant reacts quickly to close her down and the PSG right-back could only shoot well wide.
Close! Shirley Cruz Traña turns and runs towards the City box before shooting just over from 25 yards.
Hamraouri launches a free-kick from 35 yards into City’s box, Jones clears heads the ball away from Laura Georges’ head. Then Kaci got the ball in City’s box, but Kerry Montgomery removes the threat with a great sliding tackle.
Alushi beats Emma Black into the box and to the byline, but when she pulled the ball back, Rhonda Jones was in the perfect place to clear. City must not concede before half-time.
A beautiful fluid move sees Hamraoui have a first time shot blocked behind by McCulloch. Alushi’s corner causes some trouble when Alexander spilled the ball, but McCulloch hooked the ball clear.
Is that the killer blow for City? There is no doubt Glasgow need to control more of the possession, but that is easier said than done. Alushi is played down the left, but her cross is easily claimed by Alexander.
GOAL: 25 mins: PSG 1-0 Glasgow City (Lappin og) (3-0 agg)
Cruz Tana launches a corner, but it ends up on the right wing. Alushi plays to Delie, who beats McCulloch in the box. Delie crosses into the box, and the ball takes a nasty deflection off Suzanne Lappin who was trying to clear behind. Lappin is really unlucky there and the goal is similar to PSG’s opener in the first leg.
After some patient PSG build up down the right wing, their captain Sabrina Delannoy passes to Aurélie Kaci 20 yards from goal who curls her effort over.
Hamraoui plays Delie into the City box, but she is denied by a superb tackle by Cheryl McCulloch who gets a toe on the ball to take it away from the striker and into Alexander’s hands.
PSG have a corner, and the ball bounces around the City box and Josephine Henning shot stings Alexander’s palms.
Kerry Montgomery is a tad lucky as the ref sees nothing wrong with her challenge on the edge of the box on Marie-Laure Delie. And then, after feigning two turns, Alushi shoots straight at Alexander.
PSG are dominating the possession again, but Glasgow City are defending well with a solid defensive shape. There are positive signs, as City look like they possess more attacking intent.
Boulleau breaks down the left wing again, and her cross is cleared to Caroline Seger, but luckily her shot goes harmlessly wide.
Laure Boulleau puts in a dangerous cross, but it is just behind Kheira Hamraoui. Another cross from Alushi runs through to City’s keeper Lee Alexander.
A nice passing move from PSG sees Alushi break into Glasgow City’s box, but Rhonda Jones deals with it.
