FULL TIME Brazil 1-0 Spain
Brazil hold on to secure victory to reach Last 16.
A Spanish free-kick causes mayhem in the box and the ball falls to Putellas whose shot hits the near post. The Brazil launch a counter from the corner and Marta sets up Raquel Fernandes, but her first touch is heavy and ends up fouling the keeper – picking up a yellow card.
Raquel Fernandes replaces Cristiane.
Sonia’s ball sent Boquete into the box, but she takes too much time in the box and Tamires makes the tackle.
Poliana replaces Fabiana.
Sonia replaces Torrecilla.
75 mins – CLOSE
Fabiana’s cross is kept in well by Marta who picks out Formiga who from 6 yards out misses the target.
Meseguer replaces Pablos

Marta picks out Andressa just outside the box whose shot is tipped over superbly.
The ball falls to Andressa Alves on the left side of the box, but her fired shot hits the side-netting.
Formiga plays over the top towards Cristiane, Torrejan clears. Brazil cause chaos but can’t get a shot off.
A lovely ball from Cristiane looks like its picked out Thaisa, but Torrejan hooks the ball clear.
Brazil have a free-kick on the left. Andressa’s ball is good and Leire just clears at the far post.
Brazil kicks off the second half.
HALF TIME Brazil 1-0 Spain
This is so harsh on Jimenez. Tamires’ long ball sends Andressa Alves through and she prods the ball past the keeper. Jimenez chases back, sliding clears the ball off the line but straight to Andressa Alves who shoots over the despairing defender. The Brazilian is in tears as she realises she has scored her first World Cup goa.
Marta’s corner nearly creeps in at the near post but Tirapu turns the ball behind,
Indecision from Spain nearly cost them. Formiga’s ball towards the left post and Tirapu comes and misses it, but Jimenez clears the ball behind off Tamires head. Spain clear the corner and come close as Losada’s shot is well saved.
Lovely play from Spain but Boquete’s ball to Pablos is straight at a defender. Then Marta launches a ball up to Cristiane who shoves off one defender before a last ditch Torrejan tackle concedes the corner. Brazil waste the corner.
Spain are doing very well to frustrate a formidable Brazillian attack.
Brazil have a free-kick from 40 yards. Marta’s delivery is headed behind. Andressa’s delivery is cleared, and Spain launch a counter, but they waste it. Then Corredera picks out Boquete but the ball never quite falls kindly for her in the box.
Spain’s Liere Landa gets booked for a foul on Marta. She wins the ball, but catches the Brazilian with the follow-through.
Losada’s delivery is cleared at the near post.
Spain corner. Puetellas’ ball is cleared behind for a second corner.
Nearly a horror own goal. Corredera puts another great cross in looking for Pablos, and Rafaelle gets a foot to the cross and watches as the ball just goes wide of the right post. Luciana is down injured, but seems okay.
Spain are on top. Corredera nearly puts in the perfect ball to Pablos but it is just ahead of the Arsenal striker.
Marta gets down the left but her cut back is claimed by Tirapu.
8 mins – CLOSE
This should be 1-0 to Spain. Another long ball sends Pablos through, Monica recovers to put pressure on but Pablos shoots wide of the right post. Poor.
A long ball sends Pablos through but Luciana is quick to claim the ball.
