Fran Kirby gets my vote. I think she turned the game around for England in the second half
FULL TIME England 2-1 Mexico
Mexico punish England. A ball finds Corral on the right, she cuts into the box and shoots, which is spilled by Bardsley to Ibarra who fires home. Nervy end for England
Four minutes of added time.
Ibarra replaces Ocampo.
Mexico have the ball outside England’s box who can’t clear before Mayor has a weak shot easily saved by Bardsley.
Alex Scott replaces Lucy Bronze.
Robles’ right wing cross only just goes over the crossbar
Duggan goes down the left, passes to Greenwood on the edge of the box who curls a lovely ball to the far post where Carney heads past the keeper.
Super from Kirby who picks the ball up on the left, cuts into the box and curls a shot towards the far post which Santiago superbly parries wide.
Jade Moore’s cross is just over Kirby at the far post.
Maria Sanchez replaces Cuellar.
Duggan breaks into the box and into Aluko, and turns and shoots over.
Duggan shoots from 20 yards but her effort is blocked bravely by Ruiz.
It’s been coming. The ball ricochets to Kirby who breaks into the box, makes room and stabs the ball past the keeper and the ball hits the left post and rolls over the line.
England have a free-kick from 35 yards, but Greenwood’s shot is straight at the keeper.
England have a free-kick on the left, Williams goes for goal but misses the near post.

Mexico come close. Ocampo’s corner hits the crossbar and falls for Garciamendez who blasts over.
Garciamendez is booked booked for a foul on Bronze.
Mexico fire a warning as Mayor picks up the ball on the right, cuts inside and her curled shot is saved by Bardsley
Aluko had two great chances. She breaks into the box but from a narrow angle her shot is well saved. And then she makes room for herself, and her shot is well saved low down and the ball squirms just wide of the post.
England have a free-kick on the right. Greenwood’s ball looks to have set up Bronze at the far post, but Houghton steals the chance and glances her header well wide.
Corral picks up the ball on the left, turns and just shoots over.

Fara Williams goes close as her shot from the edge of the box is deflected just wide by Rangel
Alex Greenwood replaces Claire Rafferty who has picked up a knock.
England have a corner, but it is cleared.
Nearly disaster from England. Karen Bardsley tries to clear, but it hits Houghton, bounces to Cuellar, but the keeper makes herself big to make the save.

Aluko picks the ball up on the left, runs at the defence and then her shot smashes off the crossbar.
England have the free-kick from the right. England take it but the whistle is blown as England take it too early. Then Williams’ ball is cleared.
Good build-up play from England, and Moore shoots from 20 yards, but her shot doesn’t have the power to trouble the keeper.
Nervous moment from England. Corral thinks she’s kept the ball in down the left wing, but the assistant flags for a throw-in. England stop and Corral keeps on going but eventually the referee notices the flag.
Fara Willimas has a go from 40 yards and it only just goes over.
Houghton’s lovely ball picks out Duggan on the left, she cuts inside and curls a shot to the near post which Santiago saves. England on top.
30 mins – Penalty appeal
England want a penalty. Aluko’s cross causes trouble, and the ball sets up nicely for Duggan whose overhead kick hits Robles’ arm – but it is by her side. Then Rafferty’s ball picks out Aluko who sets up Kirby, but her shot was straight at the keeper. Better from England.
Better build up from England sees Kirby beat a couple of players, but her cross is poor and goes into the side-netting.
Cuellar is picked out on the left, but is frustrated by clever defending from Houghton, and eventually she shoots over.
22 mins – CLOSE
Better from England. Determined play from Bronze down the right sees her get into a great position. She passes to Jill Scott, who in turn passes to Kirby, whose tame shot is saved. She was trying to curl it into the bottom corner, but didn’t get the required connection.
Good play from Aluko sees her make room in the box, but her cross is claimed easily by Santiago.
A long ball from Bronze picks out Jill Scott whose header glances well wide.
Mexico have another free-kick. Sierra’s ball is nanother good one, it is cleared to Corral who shoots over. Then Cuellar has an effort go wide.
Mexico have a 40 yard free-kick. Sierra’s delivery picks out Ocampo, but her header is an easy save.
Mexico have a corner. It is cleared to Victoria Perez’ whose lobbed shot just goes over.
Cuellar tries to make progress down the right, but Rafferty puts her body in the way and shepherds the ball out for a goal-kick.
England have a free-kick from 35 yards, but Fara Williams’ delivery goes over everyone.
Mexico break down the right through Robles, but her shot is blocked by Bassett.
