FULL TIME Japan 2-1 Cameroon
Japan win to become the first team to qualify for the Last 16.

Nchout’s cross picks out Enganamouit whose header looks like its going in but it just goes wide of the left post.
A wonderful ball from Enganamouit sends Nchout through, and she scores with a calm finish with the ball brushing the inside of the left post.
Ejanjue’s bouncing ball looks like it finds Enganamouit in a great position, but she almost ducks under the ball.
85 mins – Japan Sub
Kaminore replaces Sugasawa.
Another Cameroon corner. Zouga’s ball flashes across the box
Ejangue’s corner causes mayhem, but Japan eventually clear.
Zouga shoots from distance again, but this time it forces the keeper into a great save to tip it wide.
Augustine Ejangue replaces Onguene
Cameroon have free-kick on the right. Zouga’s ball finds Nchout who has two shots blocked, Enganamouit has a shot blocked in the scramble before the ball falls to Onguene but she blasts wide of the near post.
Kinga’s deep cross finds Sawa at the far post, but she heads wide.
Homare Sawa replaces Sakaguchi.
Nchout sets up Zouga but once again from long distance she shoots over.
Aiara Nchout replaces Ngono Mani
Zouga shoots from 25 yards, but her shot was always going over.
A lovely move from Japan, but Ohon’s cross was cleared.
Shinobu Ohno replaces Nahomi Kawasumi
Ngoni Mani is played in the box, but Iwashimizu makes a great tackle to concede the corner, which Cameroon waste. Cameroon are on top in the second half.
SECOND HALF STARTS
Japan gets the second half underway.
Francine Zouga replaces the booked Ngo Mbeleck.
HALF-TIME Japan 2-0 Cameroon
Japan started well, but Cameroon are unlucky not to have got a goal back. Japan have had 2 shots on target, both scored. Cameroon, 8 overall but only 2 on target.
Cameroon have a free-kick, on the right near the box. Ngo Mbeleck’s ball is cleared but Cameroon work it to Manie, but she can’t get either power or direction on her shot.
Ngo Mbeleck is booked.
Wonderful play from Enganamouit as she somehow beats three Japanese defenders, and pulls the goal back to Ngono Mani who shoots wide of the right post.
34 mins – OFFSIDE
Japan have a free-kick easily caught by Ngo Ndom. Cameroon launch a counter and Enganamouit plays Ngono Mani down the left, but she is ruled offside. Replays show this was a wrong decision.
Gabrielle Onguene breaks into the box with a lovely run, but she mishits her left-footed shot and it nearly curls out for a throw-in. Then seconds later the ball is played to Enganamouit whose ambitious shot goes over.
Japan have a free-kick on the left, and Miyama’s delivery is punched clear by Ngo Ndom.
Wonderful determined play from Enganamouit down the right sees her win a corner. Ngo Mbeleck launches the corner, but Kaihori claims.
Miyama launches a free-kick into the box but Cameroon clears. The a lovely long ball finds Enganamouit in the box, but her shot from a narrow angle is saved well by Kaihori.
A long ball is played up to Enganamouit, but great defending from Kumagai draws the foul from Cameroon’s danger player.
Japan work a corner short, but play it back to the taker Miyama and launches a high inswinging cross towards the far post. The ball loops over the keeper and Sugasawa is there to head the ball back across into the net. Great goal.
Good break from Cameroon but Ngono Mani’s cross can’t find Enganamouit
Sameshima’s powerful cross is well caught by Ngo Ndom. Good keeping.
7 mins – CLOSE
Cameroon nearly get an immediate equaliser as the ball falls to Feudjio, but her powerful 30-yard shot was always just curling wide.
The World Champions take the lead. Kawasumi’s cross across the box is left by Ogimi allowed the unmarked Sameshima to score at the far post.
Japan have a corner. Miyama’s ball is cleared out to Utsugi, whose shot is blocked.
The Group C tie begins.
